However if any of us were in that controlled of an environment, then we would probably do the same. The stats are staggering when you know that about 3-5% of all overweight people will lose weight that way. Diet and exercise that is. So the odds of doing it on sheer willpower and control are almost nil. The good thing about the Biggest Loser is that it shows that you can lose weight by diet and exercise.
